Sowing Seeds with a Cup of Tea: A Get Down Jam

  • The Eternal Art Teahouse 4966 Santa Monica Avenue San Diego, CA, 92107 United States (map)

Why plant tomato seeds now when it’s cold out?

Join Good Neighbor Gardens and learn about seeding your garden from our Good Neighbor Garden Farmhand and seed expert, Alissa. We will plant seeds and sip tea in the garden at The Eternal Art Teahouse, owned by Good Neighbor Garden apprentice, Cinthia.

  • Sip tea made from an infusion of locally growable herbs in the beautiful tea garden.

  • We will sow this year's seeds while we learn from Alissa.

  • After the event, take home the seeds you sow to plant in your garden this spring!

Come experience the love and friendship of planting seeds together.

Deadline to RSVP is Feb 13, 2025. Event is limited to the first 8 RSVPs.
Learn more and RSVP for $10!

Alissa started her own garden adventure 20 years ago. Seed loving, seed saving, and seed sharing have always been part of the journey. She loves being part of nature, being in awe, and sharing in the wonder. Alissa was the top-producing farmhand for Good Neighbor Gardens for 4 years feeding hundreds of families during the pandemic, and she grew most of it from seed!

Good Neighbor Gardens farms yards and teaches the practice of growing food to people of all ages. We aggregate the extra harvest and distribute it to neighbors in the city. A portion of the proceeds goes to garden education in urban farming spaces. Follow us @goodneighborgardens!
